Office of Student Activities

The Office of Student Activities is an advisor, ally, administrator, educator and mentor to the students of Southwestern University.

What We Do

We facilitate learning experiences through new student orientation, leadership opportunities, student organizations, social activities, and other services that promote personal growth and the empowerment of students for success in our diverse community and beyond it.

  • Image preview 2:00pm: Tri-Delta Kickin’ It with the Kids

    Get together a team of friends and participate in the annual Kickin’ It For The Kids Kickball Tournament Co-Sponsored by SIRA and Tri Delta! Come enjoy games, snacks, and fun for a good cause benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital!

    Entries Open: September 28th & Entries Close: October 20th

    ENTRY FEE: $10.00 per team. Entry fees will be withdrawn from the Pirate Card number provided on registration form.

    Eligibility:  All students, faculty, staff and spouses are eligible to compete.

    The Leadership Development Series presents 5 Things I Wish I’d Known Leadership.  Being a new leader can be an intimidating experience, and you may not be sure what it truly means to be a leader.  Through interviews and surveys of some of the most successful leaders in America, these 5 tips can help you be more prepared, far more effective, and much happier in your leadership role.

    The Office Residence Life would like to invite SU staff, faculty, and their children to our annual Halloween event that happens on east campus (residence halls Brown-Cody, Mabee, and Kurth).  Residents will be decorating their halls in theme for Halloween and this is an opportunity for you to bring your children through the residence halls and have them trick or treat with students of Southwestern! Check in is in Kurth Lobby.
