BUCS GET FIRST EVER WIN AT NATIONAL TOURNAMENT!! [5/12/06] - After what was quite possibly one of the worst games of the season the day before, the Bucs woke up once again to hit the lacrosse fields and play the early game on the side field that not many venture over to.

AUGIES MAROON PIRATES!!! [5/11/06] - After a less than stellar performance on the national arena the day before, and after a great end of year banquet with quite a few parents, the Bucs woke up the next day to play Augustana.

BUCS MAULED BY GRIZZLIES [5/10/06] - The Bucs travelled to Plano for the national championships with far different goals than the #5 Montana team in the nation.

LSA DIV. B AWARDS ANNOUNCED [5/1/06] - Click here for more.

TWICE AS NICE: BUCS WIN BACK-TO-BACK LSA CHAMPIONSHIPS [4/30/06] - For the third year in a row, the Bucs entered the LSA Div. B playoffs as the number one seed. For the second year in a row, the Bucs punched their ticket to the National Tournament to be held in the Lone Star State next week.

SU ADVANCES TO ITS 2ND STRAIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP [4/29/06] - In a rematch of last years LSA Div. B Championship, The Bucs played UTA in the first of two semi final matches on Saturday.

2006 LSA DIV. B AWARDS ANNOUNCED [4/20/06] - LSA individual and Team Awards for 2006 have been announced.

SENIOR DAY A HUGE SUCCESS [4/22/06] - As the Bucs have done for years, on Saturday, the last home game of the season on Moses field, the Seniors were all sent out as captains.

SU SECURES #1 SEED IN PLAYOFFS WITH 13-3 WIN OVER UTA [4/8/06] - On Saturday, the Bucs hosted a very talented Maverick team that has been underrated all year. The bucs knew this would be a game that could easily go either way.

BUCS GET FIRST OOC WIN EVER AGAINST #19 ST. LOUIS UNIVERSITY! [4/1/06] - The Bucs woke up early on Saturday after a late game and tough loss to #7 Harding to get ready to play a team that had leapfrogged the Bucs in the national polls.

SU COMES UP SHORT AGAINST #7 IN THE NATION [3/31/06] - This past weekend was witness to quite a few firsts. Twenty-eight of the thirty five guys on the roster got on a bus at 6:15 on Friday morning, with Jay and Om (don't ask) showing up around 6:45 to travel to Searcy Arkansas to play #7 Harding and #19 St. Louis University, within 14 hours of each other.

BUCS RENEW LONGSTANDING RIVALRY WITH BAYLOR [3/26/06] - On Sunday, the Bucs hosted Baylor University, a team the Bucs hadn't played in almost 5 years. Historically, the Bucs, over its 23+ year history, have played Baylor more than any other team, and many of the games have been great match-ups.

BUCS MOVE TO 4-0 IN CONFERENCE AGAINST RIVAL TRINITY [3/25/06] - On Saturday, the Bucs travelled down to San Antonio to take on the undefeated Trinity Tigers on what is affectionately known as the "postage stamp", literally a field that is 2/3 the size of a regulation field.

BUCS WIN HOTLY CONTESTED BATTLE AGAINST A STRONG HILLTOPPER TEAM [3/5/06] - WOW. The only word to describe the game in Austin against the St. Edward's Hilltoppers this past Sunday. St. Ed's came into the game sitting at a 5-0 record, literally having dominated every team they stepped on the field against, and in essence, already in the playoffs for this year.

SOUTHWESTERN GOES 2-0 IN CONFERENCE WITH WIN OVER KANGAROOS [2/26/06] - After a great performance that barely came up short on Saturday against the Texas State Bobcats, the Bucs returned home to face conference opponent Austin College. Austin College is always a very scrappy team that simply was outnumbered. It did not keep them from playing a strong game the entire day however.

SOUTHWESTERN JUST MISSES OUT ON HUGE UPSET! [2/25/06] - On Saturday, Feb. 25, the Bucs were thankful for many things. They were thankful that the really bad weather had passed and the day turned out to be very nice. They were thankful to have the opportunity to play John Campbell's Bobcats, a Div. A team that has climbed its way to the elite of the LSA A over the past three years with big and impressive wins against traditional A powerhouses.

SOUTHWESTERN OPENS ITS 2006 CAMPAIGN WITH A VICTORY [2/11/06] - Finally. After 4 long weeks of practice, an encouraging scrimmage against Texas, and three games that were cancelled, Southwestern stepped on the field for the first time this past Saturday for a game that meant something.
