Web Management Team
On December 2, 2006 the University's Senior Staff acted on a priority from The Art and Science Group Integrated Marketing Recommendations, endorsed by the President and the Integrated Marketing Management Committee.
The priority stated
Tactic: Establish a small web committee to make critical decisions about the new web site
Establish a small web group (small enough to expedite decision making) charged with responsibility for the oversight, development, and ongoing management of the University's web site. This group would:
- Evaluate the University's internal web technology capabilities and staffing to determine the financial, technical, and human resources critical to develop and update content and maintain a more dynamic and compelling web site
- Determine the nature of the relationship and services the University will seek from an outside web developer.
- Prepare and review RFPs from web developers to assist the University in the development of the site architecture, navigation, content management system, and other graphic and technical capabilities of the new site.
- Work with the web developer and putting in place the resources needed on the ground to support the technology and content needs of a new site.
