Students who have specific academic questions or are experiencing academic difficulty are encouraged to seek help from the Center for Academic Success (CAS). The CAS staff can help you with academic concerns such as skill improvment, excessive absenteeism and personal, disability or medical issues that affect academic performance. They can also address other academic problems that cannot be resolved by faculty, advisors or department chairs.
Southwestern Univeristy strives to create a welcoming and accessible environment for all students. Students who have disabilities should contact the Assistant Director for Academic and Access Resources, to determine reasonable and appropriate accommodations. Accommodations are available to students who provide written documentation.
Academic Success offers all students instruction on strategies to enhance academic performance. Peer mentors provide individual and group instruction on a variety of study strategies. Come by CAS to make an appointment with a peer mentor today!
