    UPC brings you a night of live music and fun in The Cove featuring Merriment.  This folk/pop trio from Tyler, Texas has music running through their blood.  With their four older siblings and a cousin comprising the band Eisley, it came as no surprise that Colin and Christie DuPree would follow in their footsteps. Merriment has been named on the “Top 100 Bands to Watch in 2014” by Alternative Press, and regularly tour around Texas.  You do not want to miss this show!

    Get your first taste of Friday Night Live as comedian Erik Rivera takes the stage.  This New York City native is a fast rising start in the comedy world.  He has been featured on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and NBC’s Last Comic Standing. He recently performed at the Hollywood Latino Laugh Festival alongside Gabriel Iglesias, Carlos Mencia, and Felipe Esparza. So come out and see what Friday Night Live is all about with a night of laughs!

    A vengeful fairy is driven to curse an infant princess, only to discover that the child may be the one person who can restore peace to their troubled land. Grab some friends and make your way over to The Cove for the first Cinematic Saturday.  Catch this summer blockbuster before it is available on DVD. Free popcorn will be provided.

    Join fellow new students for a fun-filled evening at one of Georgetown’s hot spots, Mel’s Lone Star Lanes.  Five bucks will get you access to unlimited bowling with shoe rental, shuffleboard, pool, darts and even karaoke.  Shuttles will be available and will run from behind the McCombs Campus Center every 30 minutes.  Mel’s also accepts Pirate Buc$.
