Argentine Tango
Argentine tango is a social dance that evolved in Buenos Aires, Argentina and is renowned for its beauty, subtlety, and sensuality. It is danced in a spectrum of styles and embraces from close (upper torso connection) to open (connection through the arms). In class we will explore the various connections and embraces as you learn proper technique of movement, how to establish a solid connection with your partner, and a sense of musicality with the dance. Combined with a few simple steps and a little practice you will learn to dance Argentine tango beautifully and comfortably.
No experience or dance partner is necessary. Comfortable shoes that won't fall off (e.g. no flip-flops) and shoes that won't grip the floor (e.g. no running shoes) are recommended.
Class is on Tuesdays from 7-8pm in the CJR Aerobics Room.

Circuit Mania
This class is a non-stop, high energy fitness class that anyone can succeed in! The exercises are designed to give you an overall body workout. From balance to core work, strength to functional training, it is all here. We will travel from station to station performing the specific exercises for that stop. There are two exercises at each station (upper body/lower body) that will increase in duration and intensity as your fitness level improves. It is a great way to get a total body workout in and have fun at the same time!
Classes take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays

Noon-time Cardio Workout
Class meets on Mondays and Wednesday from
12:00pm - 12:50pm in the CJR Aerobics Room.
This workout will primarily use a bench step format to improve coordination, strength, and overall cardiovascular health. The class will also regularly incorporate circuit training, interval work, and the use of weights. This fun and fast-paced class does not require previous experience with group fitness workouts just willingness to try something new in a friendly and supportive environment.

Pilates
Two different classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays:
- Level I Beginning Class 1:00-1:50pm CJR Aerobics Room
- Level II Progressive Intermediate Class 12:00-12:50pm CJR

Class
Pilates utilizes fluid movement elongating the muscles while strengthening the muscles. Pilates is a system of physical conditioning developed by Joseph H. Pilates in the early 1900's. Pilates optimizes one's movements whatever their current fitness level. The exercises emphasize the core muscles of the abdomen, gluteus and back. The Pilates system brings about muscle balance and spinal alignment, which improves posture and body mechanics, and builds strength throughout the entire body.

Yoga Class
Nurture and energize the entire self through the fusion of dynamic poses, breath work and deep relaxation. The practice of yoga encourages greater flexibility, strength, balance, self-awareness and tranquility. Participants of all levels are welcome to attend. Feel free to bring your own mat, if you wish, or use a mat provided by SIRA.
Class meets in the CJR
Aerobics Room as follows:
- Monday and Wednesday 5:30-6:30pm
- Fridays from 12noon-1pm and 1-2pm
Participants can sign up for 1-3 classes/week as desired
