The Women's Lacrosse Club is a competitive club sport at Southwestern. The Club competes in the Texas Women's Lacrosse League (TWLL) and has been a recognized organization on campus since the fall of 2001. The team won the Division B TWLL championship in 2007 and fields a very competitive team every season.
SU Women's Lacrosse is a great way to make new friends since more than 20 students participate each year. Both experienced players and those just learning the game enjoy playing the "fastest game on two feet". Lacrosse practices are held a couple days each week. Meanwhile, games against other university club teams on the weekends allow team members to play competitively, but in a fairly laid back manner.
