With varied living options—from traditional residence halls to apartments, both single gender and co-ed, throughout campus—and a central dining location, Southwestern offers a unique residential academic community to its students.
News You Can Use:
The Residence Life office invites SU staff and faculty and their children to the annual Halloween event “Spooktakular” on Thursday, October 30, 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. On-campus residents will be decorating Brown-Cody, Mabee, and Kurth halls for trick-or-treating. No rsvp is necessary; check-in is in Kurth lobby.
Sunday Snacks happens each Sunday night in the residence halls that contain first-year students (Brown-Cody, Kurth, Mabee, Ruter). This weekly event provides residents an opportunity to socialize with residents in their building, to hear from a faculty/staff member on campus or a student group, and to have a snack break! Please join us in the lobbies of these buildings each Sunday at 8:00 (Mabee and Kurth) and at 8:30 (Brown-Cody and Ruter).
How To Life
Student life has developed a new series for our students called “How To Life”. Our goal is to bring helpful topics/skills to the table that our students will need to know in the real world but that they might not get the opportunity to learn in the class room. The following is the How to Life schedule for the rest of the fall semester:
If you have any further questions on this series please contact Magen Smith at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Just a reminder, meal plans restart each week on Friday morning. The deadline to cancel or change meal plans has passed.
