Moody-Shearn is an upperclass coed hall housing sophomore students on the west side of campus.
Moody-Shearn houses approximately 100 residents and 3 student staff members in two-person rooms with suite-style bathrooms. The hall has laundry facilities nearby. Moody-Shearn is unique in that it is laid out in an open, apartment style format, which makes it and its partner building, Herman Brown, extremely popular.

Moody-Shearn Hall was put into use in 1966 and features exterior corridors and private courtyards. Moody-Shearn Hall was a gift of the Moody Foundation of Galveston, Texas, and is named in honor of Mr. John Shearn, an early graduate of Rutersville College, and in honor of Mr. William Lewis Moody Jr.
