Thanks to the 19 alumni who offered great career advice and connections for current students during the 15th annual Career Connections BBQ, hosted by Career Services on Friday, April 11, 2014.

Attorneys, a chemist, a nurse, an AmeriCorps VISTA, event planners, non-profit managers, a therapist, a software developer, a paramedic, and business professionals in marketing, advertising, accounting and finance returned to campus to share their experience and advice with about 50 students.

Alumni and students met one-on-one or in small groups for four 20-minute “informational interviews,” during which alumni answered questions about their professions and the world of work. Students reported the alumni to be extremely helpful and were grateful for the opportunity to meet with them.
