Fifteen Southwestern University students were inducted into the Alpha Chi national honor society Nov. 20.

Alpha Chi grew out of a Scholarship Society that was organized at Southwestern in 1915. It was formally founded on Feb. 22, 1922. There are now approximately 300 Alpha Chi chapters across the country, and the organization’s archives are kept at Southwestern.

Membership in Alpha Chi is open to juniors and seniors who are in the top 10 percent of their class. The latest inductees are:
