Attention Upcoming Juniors and Seniors! It’s time to submit your application for the J. Charles Merrill Peace and Justice Scholarship.

J. Charles Merrill was a Southwestern alumnus and life-long pastor who chose to take on issues such as child abuse and neglect, poverty, war, and bigotry. In honor of his memory and his life’s work, the Merrill family has endowed a $3,000 scholarship to be awarded each year to a student who has completed at least two years of full time enrollment at SU and who has demonstrated interest in activities or occupations which promote peace and justice.
