Are you doing anything this summer? Breakthrough Collaborative is offering a unique summer opportunity open to undergraduates to lead and teach motivated and under-resourced middle schoolers. These are paid summer internship opportunities with training and classroom teaching experience.

The students come from Fort Worth, TX and other cities. If you’re not in the Fort Worth area for the summer, do note that free housing will be available to out-of-town interns.

Future Teach for America Corps Member Melanie states that “Prior to my experience as a Breakthrough teacher, I intended to go into law after graduation. After two summers teaching at Breakthrough, I can say that the program has changed the trajectory of my entire life. I am now committed to a career in education.”

Applications are accepted until February 27, 2012 and interviews are taken on a rolling basis, so if you’re interested please apply as soon as you can!
