Financial Aid To-Dos Deadline

The Financial Aid Office has four items for students and parents to consider—each with a different purpose. Depending on your financial aid award, any combination of these forms can help facilitate the financial aid/billing process.
Texas Residency Form
Students eligible to receive State of Texas funding, specifically the Texas Equalization Grant (TEG), must meet the state residency requirements. The Texas Residency Form must be submitted before any TEG funds can be released.
Outside Scholarship Declaration Form
Federal regulations require that a student notify Southwestern about outside scholarships—that he or she will receive from other groups or organizations—prior to enrolling.
Students and parents accepting Stafford, Perkins or Parent PLUS loans must complete loan counseling and/or sign a promissory note before loan funds will be disbursed. To decline your loans, please notify the financial aid office at firstname.lastname@example.org.
