Computer Labs & Printing

Southwestern has two public labs on campus equipped with Macs, PCs and high speed laser printers. Printing is free for academic use only. There are two other, specialty, public labs available to students. Instructional Media Center (IMC) is equipped with high-end computers, scanners and color printers to meet the need for advanced media projects and publications and the Debbie Ellis Writing Center.

Pirate Printing on Campus

All students are given $30 each for Fall/Spring semesters and $20 for Summer to print in the labs.  .07 cents for B/W single-sided, .08 cents for B/W double-sided.  Color printing is available in the 24 hour lab in the Smith Library Center.  .35 cents for color single-sided, .60 cents for color double-sided.

If you exhaust the funds in your print account, you may purchase a Pirate Print card in the Smith Library Center 24-hour lab in increments of $1,$5, $10, and $20 via the wall-mounted dispenser.  You can also purchase these cards using PirateBuc$ at the ITS offices in PRC 250.  Any additional funds you add to your account will roll-over between semesters during the academic year; however, unused funds will be lost at the beginning of each academic year when accounts are reset.
