Tim Washecka grew up and began music study in Austin, TX, as a student of Laurie Scott. He holds degrees in violin and viola performance from the University of Houston, and has performed as a member of the Woodlands Symphony Orchestra, Round Top Festival Orchestra, and Houston Grand Opera Orchestra. He also has trained as a Suzuki Method string teacher with Linda Fiore at the University of Hartford. His varied teaching experience includes private teaching, applied string teaching at schools and programs in Texas and Connecticut, and faculty positions at summer institutes and workshops.
