Rick Roemer is Professor of Theatre at the Sarofim School of Fine Arts at Southwestern University. He came to SU from California where he was Director of Theatre for Antelope Valley College. After receiving his doctorate in Theatre History/ Theory/ Criticism and Directing from UCLA, he stayed on to teach and direct at UCLA. Rick has directed over 30 productions and as an actor has appeared on Broadway, off-Broadway, in national tours, regional theaters, day-time soaps, and commercials.
