Employed chemical and biochemical techniques to analyze newly synthesized detergents for their efficacy in solubilizing and stabilizing membrane proteins at elevated temperature ranges.
Graduate Research Assistant
Texas A&M University, Department of Chemistry
August 01, 2002 - August 01, 2006
Quantitative Analysis & Organic Chemistry Instructor
My research expertise is in lipoprotein separations and their analysis by various bioanalytical chemistry methods as well as membrane protein analysis by organic chemistry techniques. My research experience involves complex biological analytes as well as assays to test the efficacy of newly-synthesized organic detergents on membrane protein stability and solubility for x-ray crystallographic research.
