Teaching Philosophy

I believe in teaching the whole student and covering all aspects of music performance. For the music major, it is imperative that the student learns how to be an outstanding musician not matter their field of expertise.

At other institutions, additionally I have taught music education courses, theory and aural skills, as well as ethnomusicology classes.
