Facilities
Southwestern provides meaningful opportunities for students at all levels of skill and physical ability. Sports and recreational facilities on campus include an indoor swimming pool; racquetball courts; tennis courts; outdoor volleyball court; indoor track; gymnasium floors; exercise and weight rooms; soccer, softball and lacrosse fields; a golf course; and games and media rooms in the student center.
Students will find a wide variety of sports, recreation, and wellness activities available in at Southwestern including: intercollegiate athletics, club sports, intramural sports, outdoor recreation and wellness/leisure offerings.
The Corbin J. Robertson Center
The Corbin J. Robertson Center, dedicated in 1996, provides more than 95,000 square-feet of comprehensive recreational and athletic facilities. The center includes the Kinesiology and Intercollegiate Athletics Departments and offices for Health Services, Counseling Services, Athletic Training and Intramural and Recreational Activities. Robert K. Moses, Jr., Soccer Field
Robert K. Moses, Jr., Soccer Field, on the west side of the campus, serves as outdoor playing fields for varsity soccer, club lacrosse and intramural sports.
Rockwell Family Baseball Field
Home to the Pirates Baseball Team, the Rockwell Family Baseball Field is located on the east side of campus.
Kurth-Landrum Golf Course
Located on the east side of campus, the Kurth-Landrum Golf Course is open from sun up to one hour before sunset year round (except Christmas Day). Tee time reservations are not taken for weekday play. Reservations may be made for weekend and holiday tee-times up to two days ahead of the desired reservation day. Tee times are subject to availability. Use of the Golf Course is free for persons holding a valid Southwestern ID card. The Golf Course is open for play to the general public for a small fee. The fees are displayed in the Pro Shop.
Snyder Athletic Field
Snyder Athletic Field, on the west side of the campus, serves as outdoor playing fields for varsity soccer, club lacrosse and intramural sports.
