THE DISTINGUISHED ALUMNUS/ALUMNA AWARD - One or more may be awarded annually in recognition of Charter Day or at other appropriate times to former students who meet the following criteria:

a. A minimum of ten years since graduation from Southwestern
b. Service to the University over a long period of time
c. Service to his/her community, state, and nation
d. Leadership in his/her chosen profession, business, or vocation
e. Creativity of an artistic or literary nature, where applicable
f. High ethical standards as taught and represented by Southwestern
