Upward Bound (UB) is a program for eligible high school students who want to go to college. We offer the following services free of charge:
- Tutoring
- Summer program with college residential week
- Help with college, financial aid & scholarship applications
- Parent workshops in English & Spanish
- Trips to colleges & cultural events
- Volunteer & leadership opportunities
- Senior reward trip to Washington D.C.
- Enrichment classes & academic advisement
- Sylvan Learning SAT Preparation course (worth $999)

WE DELIVER RESULTS
100% of our 2004, 2006 and 2007 graduates enrolled in college the fall semester immediately following high school graduation. In 2005, 85% enrolled. The national average is 22%*.
