July 18...............Fall Tuition/Room Bills Mailed

August 1.............Fall Tuition Due Date

August 15...........New Students Arrive.

August 18...........First Year Seminar classes begin.

August 25 ..........First Class Day for other classes.

General information about registration, is provided via the "Class Schedules" link to the left. The Web Advisor search displays show how many seats are available (good later for the add process). Use SU Search for Sections.

Department Chairs 2008-9- may sign add/drop cards for instructor.

Tuition Schedules
Tuition payments are due about four weeks before long term classes begin, May 2 for Summer 2008, August 1 for Fall 2008, December 12 for Spring 2009 - and unpaid pre-registration schedules will be cancelled, freeing seats for others (see link to left). 

Is your schedule correct? Use Web Advisor (links above) to check it.  Also, watch for e-mail notification of all add/drop transactions (except Pass/Fail changes). If you don't get one, come by the Registrar's Office and check on it.   This is another reason you need to keep your SU e-mail account functional - and check your mail. 

Once a student decides to drop a particular course, delay in doing so keeps the course away from other students who may need it.  It can also cost Money! See the "Costly Drops" link for more information.   Be aware of the deadlines for adds and drops. 

All students must claim both their SU electronic mail account and their SU Box, and check these regularly, as these are used for official communication.  Students must also maintain valid home address information on the Registrar's files.
